Doug began his long career as a professional entertainer in the 1980s singing at Opryland USA, the home of the “Grand Ole Opry” in Nashville, TN. After three years in the “Country Music USA” show, and four years as the lead singer for “The Cumberland Boys”, Opryland‘s gospel quartet, Doug went into ministry and began his pastoral work as a worship leader, and a senior pastor for over 25 years.
Doug is currently a Positive Country Artist with 2 by 2 Records out of Nashville, Tennessee with 10 number one hit songs, including “When He Calls My Name”, “King Of Love”, “Raise Up A Warrior”, “How Many Days”, and many more!
Doug is currently touring the country, singing his own personal brand of Positive Country Music and is the host of “An Evening For Autism” at the Nashville Palace, an annual benefit for families struggling with autism. Doug is also the President of “The Country Music Autism Awareness Foundation” benefiting families facing the daily challenges of the autism epidemic.
